Precision and Accuracy

Two of my favorite things are shown in this image, representing both precision and accuracy. The Fluke 8020 meter was my first that could display so many digits so accurately. The number shown is the voltage from a Weston Standard Cell which shows that the Fluke meter reads within .001 volts. Other meters confirm it. The standard cell is more than 40 years old and I believe it has dropped in value just a little bit from its original 1.0193 volts.
